Krishna explains to Panchali about commitment.

Very few of us would know the actual reason as to when and how Lord Krishna supported Pancahali or Draupadi in the Kuru Mahasabha.
After Yudhistir lost everything in the game of dice, he put Draupadi on the bet and lost her.
Just when Dushasan and Duryodhan were trying to disrobe Draupadi in front of the entire royal court, Draupadi pleaded with the entire Kuru dynasty to save her from this ignomony as she was also undergoing her monthly menstrual bleeding. Dushasan and Duryodhan , both epitome of arrogance and imperialist motives did not heed to any one's advise.
When even Bhisma preferred to remain silent , Draupadi prayed to the Lord to save her from the unholy creatures, but nothing happened. Even Panchali herself was surprised that Krishna or her loved sakha did not come to rescue and that too at this moment of crisis.
Later,Draupadi raised her hands and instead of securing the robes around her body- she prayed to the Lord and said "if disrobing a lady infront of the royal court is acceptable to the Lord, she would prefer not to defend herself" and closed her eyes.
To her utter surprise, the robe kept on unfurling like a never ending stream and she was saved from a position which no lady would ever want.
Later , when she enquired as to why the Lord did not help her instantly, Krishna replied that it was only when Draupadi submitted herself mentally to the Lord, He came to her rescue and not before that.

The morale being- unless you commit yourself 100% in anything you do, desire or dream, the results will never fructify.Half hearted approach will never bring in the desired results and can only cause failures.

  1. No success can be achieved without complete devotion to the cause. Just like Ekalvya used to practice for hours to be the best archer, Tendular still practices more than much younger counterparts.Commitment is a big word being made trivial by the corporate people by terming targets as commitments.

  2. Give 100% of ur effort and if things still doesn't happen leave it to the God.
