Baripada or the land of Rains is a sleepy little town in Orissa, on the confluence of river Budhabalanga, Jarali and Sarali.Surrounded by the states of Jharkhand and West Bengal it is the birth place of noted painters, writers, musicians,playwrights, actors , scientists and bureaucrats. It is here where I spent my childhood and grew up to manhood in the midst of lilting tribal music and a rich cultural bonding epitomising the simple tribal life depicting honesty and integrity.

Serene Sarnath
Eternal peace is what you feel when you enter Sarnath. Having read the book 'Buddha" by Deepak Chopra, each and every part of the place was electrifying. The Peace Stupa , steeped in history stands as a mute spectator to the ravages of time.
